Our Military Poppy Range: How We Support the Military Community
At Get A Gift 4U, our Military Poppy Range brings together remembrance-themed gifts, from signs and plaques to clocks, glass cutting boards and bar mats. Alongside this range, we support groups across the military community through product donations.
Supporting the military community by choice
We are a business, not a charity. The support we provide is something we choose to give because we want to help the military community and the organisations within it.
We support groups across all areas of the Armed Forces, including community interest groups, charities and social clubs. We recognise the value of organisations of different sizes and structures, and the work they do for their communities.
Why we donate products
Our support takes the form of products rather than cash. The groups receiving these donations can sell the items or use them as raffle prizes to raise funds for their own causes and activities.
We choose this approach because a donated product has the potential to raise far more than we could contribute through a cash donation calculated as a percentage of sales. An item sold at a fundraising event can generate its selling price, while an item used as a raffle prize can help bring in money through multiple ticket sales.
The amount raised will vary, but the aim is simple: to give groups something they can turn into meaningful financial support.
Our donated products have always been free
We do not charge for the products we donate, and we never have.
These are product donations, freely given to help the receiving organisation raise funds. We want customers and the groups we support to understand clearly how our contribution works.
